Back in August

Test test....

So stuff has been busy. I have been doing school like crazy. This week has been final prep for Cali. Nathan and I will be buying some universal studio passes from AMA. They have a really good deal on day passes that I think we're gonna jump on. Looking forward to this. 12 days and we fly out. Awesome! School like I said has been busy and even though i'm in a lot less classes this semester I feel really busy even still. Feels like my weeks are still full. Oh i'm going to be going to YC in edmonton the last weekend in May I think it is with the youth group. Jesse is taking the kids up there. Its gonna be a great trip as well and i'm looking forward to taking that in again. With that said I need to go online and fill out a registration for Jesse. Yeah I better do that...ALright thats it...peace!

Well its final...this past week Nathan and I confirmed our trip to California over reading break. We ended up getting a good deal on plane and hotel stuff so we are going. I've never been anywhere like this before and its gonna be a lot of fun. We are going to check out such events as The wonderful world of disney...should be good...My bro john had a chance to go when he was in grade 7 to florida so i'm looking forward to this. We're also going to check out universal studios and maybe go to a show or two. Basically its just gonna be a good trip of fun and downtime for us because it will be reading break for me and it will be vacation for nathan who hasen't had a vacation in 2 years or so. Anyways this trip is confirmed and if anyone wants a postcard from disney or Los Angeles or something send me an email at cooteeo@yahoo.com and leave me your address and i'll send you one. The dates we're leaving is from feb 10-17 and I can't wait! Lately i've just been going to school and getting into the normal grind again. I have a little lighter load this semester as first planned so i'm gonna beable to do a lot better in the classes I have...its good! Basically I've been hanging out with trevor a lot and its been awesome getting to know him and talk to him again, i'm blessed to have him back here....we're going to get a new adventures of trevor and mike up sometime soon so be looking for that in the next month or two...Vancouver is this weekend as is my birthday...its gonna be a great time...Good show...should be a good drive...need to do a little work on the car before we go but its gonna work out ok and when we return I will be 22...rah me!...anyways thats all I have to post...until next time....peace!

Trevors flight is delayed...he won't be pulling in till around 9 now...that's about two hours later then schedualled for. Today I had band practice. It went really well and we learned more songs that will be good for shows and stuff. I am listening to a band called armor for sleep right now. They are amazing. It almost makes me want to write lyrics its that sort of band. I'm sleepy right now. I'm wishing for a nap but I have to go grocery shopping and i'm expecting the phone to ring any second...tonight is gonna be awesome when trevor gets here. There are some people and friends that are coming over to see him. Most of these people I would consider to be friends but its funny cause I never seem to see the majority of them unless trevor is around...its kinda wierd. I guess my busy life is also partly to blame. I want to go to vancouver. I can't wait and the weekend of the 17th and Coheed and Cambria isn't coming fast enough. i want to get in the car and drive through the mountains in the snow and face the open road. I miss the open road and that weekend is gonna come and go way way to fast. I guess the annual cornerstone trip is only like 6 months away...half way there till music and who knows what else comes my way. Sometimes I wish I wasen't up in canada, I say that I would go to more shows, I'm not sure what else I would do. That's pretty much it, any money I ever made would go to seeing bands play. That would awesome...That's it for now....

the "classic" 14%...

Well another day...Trevor comes home tommorrow...i'm so excited to sit down and talk to him again. It sounds like he has a lot to share about the past few months. I remember when he left thinking that it was gonna be forever before he returned...Well he's back tommorrow...that's amazing....i'm really excited about this. We have a lot of catching up to do...should be amazing. I still need to get his computer built and put back together. its almost there. Should be ok...tommorrow is band practice among other things...We haven't met together as a band for like....3 weeks...like its been three weeks since we played...its gonna be great to get that going again. I miss playing bass in the band. Its always fun times because we always have fun and its decent music to. School starts monday...oh man that's crazy...I don't know where the past semester went. Should be good... I was hanging out with Nathan all day today....I'm hungry...

Well another year is gone. Tonight I went to a Flames game with the from's. we bought tickets the traditional from way by getting from scalpers. It was really good and managed to get some decent seats at a fair price. It was good. After we went to boston pizza and had some good good food. it was amazing. Then I came home with steve and sat around with james and finished watching a movie. Then midnight hit and steve had some wine he got as a gift from work...so we broke that out...it was a good night...good talks...good times. Funny thinking about a new year on hand...i'm not sure what that all entails yet. Maybe next year for new years i'll have more people to hang out and ring in the new year with...we'll see...maybe nothing will change. I"ll just be a year older and will have learned a few more things about myself. We'll see...kinda cool to look ahead at a new start sort of...should be good...happy new year...

I'm back in didsbury again. This time i'm only here for like two more days...then I go to a flames game and go home after that is over. So awesome...I love hockey in person when its the NHL. Super good. Anyways this afternoon i was with mike just playing video games and fooseball. That was good times. i think tonight if we can track justin down we're going to try and get some 3 player action going. I always feel like such a nerd in town here but its ok. Its with friends and with people that I don't get to see that much anymore so its alright. This holiday is wrapping up really really fast. I'm not sure I like that. Its really cold here today. That's not nice either because its a foggy cold. Its like minus 20 and its foggy so it feels colder. This is the only time I don't like living in canada is when the weather gets really cold. Anyways it was a good night last night in calgary. Driving home was tough because the snow was falling and it was blowing all over the road. Kinda nice to be back in the car and driving again by yourself. Its funny how when your driving by yourself you learn things about yourself and you get a lot of thinking done. Its cool. Especially after a day like yesterday where there was a funeral and I played bass in church. This holiday has been really different because i've found myself not thinking about going back to school at all. I haven't really been concerned about it and i've been thinking about doing other things other then going to school. Even what major i'm in at school I haven't been thinking about. When i think about there being a year and a half to two years left in my schooling I just try and figure out why i'm doing this. Hopefully it will make sense. Lately i've been just thinking about travelling places...going on missions trips and serving God. I have been just lately as well thinking about what really matters this holiday...Thats' all I got....
